ORAN — Clarence “Slim” Curtis, son of Leo Wylie and Newell Mary Michelson Curtis, was born Jan. 13, 1935, in Hagarville, Arkansas, and departed his life Friday, June 12, 2026, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 91 years.
He retired from R.B. Potashnick and was a member of Oran Baptist Church. Clarence was a resident of Oran and enjoyed playing the banjo and working outside in his garden.
On May 16, 1955, he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Margrabe in Oran. She preceded him in death Jan. 1, 2009.
