A funding application of £9,000 has been submitted to the local partnership to renovate St Constantine’s Hall on Uist Street which has been described as a versatile hub for local engagement providing space for community and social gatherings, recreational activities and learning programmes.
A total of £10,800 refurbishments within the hall to make it a more inviting and safer place to congregate.
It is hoped the work can be completed in May and June this year and benefit more than 300 individuals.
